These terms apply to your use of otpmock, including the website at otpmock.com, the API at api.otpmock.com, the live inbox and any helper code we publish (together, the "Service"). The Service is provided by otpmock ("otpmock", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for a company, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.
1. What the Service is
otpmock is a testing tool. It accepts SMS and verification requests in place of a real SMS provider, stores them for a short time, and lets you read them back. otpmock never delivers messages to real phones. It is meant for development, test and staging environments, not for sending messages to real people.
2. Your account and API keys
- You need an account to get an API key. Give us a working email address and keep it up to date.
- You're responsible for your API keys and for everything done with them. Keep them secret. If one leaks, rotate it and tell us at support@otpmock.com.
- You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in production to handle real users' sign-ins or verifications;
- send us personal data you don't need to, such as real customers' phone numbers or message contents. Use made-up test numbers;
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or to help bypass someone else's security or verification systems;
- try to access other customers' data, probe or break our security, or interfere with the Service;
- overload the Service with traffic far beyond normal test usage, or resell it as your own product without our written permission.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules. Where we reasonably can, we'll tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
4. Plans, payment and cancellation
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions. Their prices and monthly message allowances are shown on our pricing section when you subscribe.
- Our order process is handled by our online reseller Creem (creem.io), which is the Merchant of Record for all orders. Creem processes payments, issues invoices and handles sales tax, VAT, billing questions and refunds. Creem's own terms also apply to your purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled. You can cancel any time; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
- When you use up your monthly allowance, sending stops working until the next period or until you upgrade.
- Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes apply from your next billing period after the notice.
5. Your data
The messages and other data you send to the Service stay yours. You give us permission to process them only as needed to run the Service for you. Messages and verifications are deleted automatically 10 minutes after we receive them. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don't promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something you pay for in a way that matters, we'll tell you ahead of time and you can cancel.
7. Our property
The Service, the website and our brand belong to us. Helper code we publish for you to copy into your project, such as the files under otpmock.com/sdk, you may use, copy and modify for your own projects.
8. Disclaimer
The Service is a testing tool and is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Test results that depend on the Service are not a guarantee that your production systems work.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or USD 50 if that is more. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
10. Ending the agreement
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We can end these terms or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break them, or if we stop offering the Service, in which case we'll give you at least 30 days' notice and refund any unused prepaid period.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we'll email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection laws of the country where you live.
